Proper Cooking Temperatures
Inadequately or undercooked food may cause a major illnesses! Listed below are the proper cooking temperatures to help prevent a foodborne illness. All temperatures are in Fahrenheit.
1) Vegetables, Precooked Foods, Commerciall processed ready-to-eat-foods (hot dogs)
= 135 degrees
2) In Shell Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Whole Beef, Whole Pork, Whole Lamb
= 145 degrees
3) Ground Beef, Ground Pork, All Ground Meat
= 155 degrees
4) Poultry, Suffed Foods, Reheated Leftovers, Microwaved Foods, Mixed Foods (stews, casseroles)
= 165 degrees
